Ben Brainard

Ben Brainard was born and raised in Little Rock, AR. After attending Lyon College in Batesville, Brainard began professionally cooking under Scott McGehee at the Boulevard Bread Company. After stints in the Bay Area and Philadelphia, Brainard returned home to open Local Lime in 2012, which was named Best New Restaurant and Best Mexican by the Arkansas Times. In 2015, Brainard opened Heights Taco & Tamale, which also received Arkansas Times’ Best New Restaurant award in 2015.
