COVID-19 Safety
You agree that you will not attend the Event if you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 within 72 hours prior to the Event. You agree to follow all Event instructions related to COVID-19 protocols and procedures, including the wearing of masks if advised. You understand that you may be asked to leave the Event if Event staff determines, in their sole reasonable discretion, that your continued attendance may present a safety or security risk to yourself or to other guests.
Assumption Of Risks; Waiver And Release Of Claims; Covenant Not To Sue
You understand that the Event is an in-person event where food and alcohol will be served and consumed and where you will come into contact with other persons. You understand that neither the Event hosts or Share Our Strength can prevent you or your guests from becoming exposed to, contracting or spreading any disease or illness, including COVID-19, while attending the Event.
BY ATTENDING THE EVENT, YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS AND DANGERS OF INJURY TO PERSON OR PROPERTY ARISING FROM, INCIDENTAL TO, OR RELATED IN ANY WAY TO THE EVENT, INCLUDING THE RISK OF CONTRACTING COVID-19, WHETHER OCCURRING PRIOR TO, DURING, OR AFTER THE EVENT, HOWSOEVER CAUSED AND WHETHER BY NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE. YOU HEREBY EXPRESSLY AGREE TO RELEASE SHARE OUR STRENGTH, THE EVENT VENUE AND HOSTS, AND EACH OF ITS/THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, OWNERS, AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS AND AGENTS (COLLECTIVELY, “RELEASEES”) FROM ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO, OR OTHERWISE OCCURRING AT OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE EVENT. YOU COVENANT NEVER TO INSTITUTE, PARTICIPATE OR ASSIST IN ANY ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEEDING, SUIT OR ACTION, AT LAW OR IN EQUITY, AGAINST RELEASEES FOR YOUR ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT.
Prohibited Conduct And Items
Because this is a private event, use of cameras or recording devices of any kind (including cell phones), smoking, the carrying of weapons and bringing alcohol, other beverages, and glass/metal containers onto the premises are strictly prohibited. You may, of course, take photos of the Event for your personal use.
You agree not to transmit, distribute, or sell (or aid in transmitting, distributing, or selling), any media now or hereafter existing, any description, account, picture, video, audio or other form of reproduction of any Event action, Event information, Event guest or attendee, or any surrounding activities (in whole or in part) for the Event.
Drinking Policy
Share Our Strength recognizes the concern about drinking and driving, and we encourage responsible consumption of products at the Event. Attendees who consume alcoholic beverages must do so in a responsible manner. If you believe that your driving ability may be impaired or that you cannot safely operate a motor vehicle, please speak with a representative who will assist in securing transportation (at your cost) to your destination point. You agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Releasees and the Event venue and hosts, as appropriate, from any liability related thereto.
Media Release
By entering this Event, the Holder consents to be taped, photographed, and recorded. The Holder grants to Share Our Strength, and its designees and agents, the right in perpetuity throughout the world to utilize the Holder’s image, likeness, voice, actions and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, film, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the Event in any medium or context for any purpose, including commercial or promotional purposes, without further authorization or compensation.
