Chef Jason Harris is a Seattle native who originally trained as a sushi chef at a family-owned Japanese restaurant in Bothell. After five years in the sushi world (Chiso, Sushi Kappo Tamura), Jason discovered a new love for ramen and izakaya cuisine at the hidden gem Showa in Fremont. He was lucky enough to briefly operate his own restaurant, Bloom, in the Ballard neighborhood for two years.
Chef Jason joined with the Huxley-Wallace team in 2016 to open Kiki Ramen. Together with Chef Josh Henderson, they developed a style of ramen that both honored traditional methods, and was approachable to the diverse crowd of South Lake Union.
