Jessica Koslow

Jessica Koslow is an award winning American chef, and owner of LA hotspot, Sqirl. She was a 2018 James Beard Award Finalist in the Best Chef category and has been dubbed the “leader of New California Cuisine.”

Koslow got her start at Anne Quatrano’s Bacchanalia and Star Provisions, learning to cook in one of the South’s most esteemed kitchens.  She opened Sqirl LA in 2011, as a jam storefront, but quickly expanded into a small breakfast and lunch spot, which serves the famed sorrel pesto rice bowl, and other delights.

Koslow is on Rene Redzepi’s MAD board, the JBF Awards Committee and is active in the Edible School Yard.
