Ludo Lefebvre

Chef Ludo Lefebvre recently celebrated 20 years of cooking in Los Angeles. He is one of the city’s most influential chefs, known for his inventive, refined cooking at Trois Mec, which was the first of his award-winning stripmall haunts. In 2015, LA Weekly named Ludo the Best Chef in LA. That same year, he opened his “bar a la carte” concept, Petit Trois, a James Beard finalist for Best New Restaurant. The highly anticipated second location of Petit Trois opened in Sherman Oaks in 2018. LudoBird serves fried chicken and now has premium locations at the STAPLES Center and Universal CityWalk.

In December 2015, Ludo became a “knight” when he received the prestigious Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres award from his home country of France. He was named one of the 50 Greatest Chefs in the World by Relais & Châteaux and was a James Beard finalist for Rising Star Chef. He was nominated for two James Beard Awards in 2017, Best Chef West and for his work on Mind of A Chef. Additionally, he received the prestigious Mobil 5 Star Award at two Los Angeles Restaurants, L’Orangerie and Bastide. Upon its return to Los Angeles in 2019, the California Michelin Guide included Petit Trois in the Bib Gourmand and awarded Chef Ludo with one star for Trois Mec.

Ludo is the author of two cookbooks: LudoBites and Crave. He starred in Season 5 of the Emmy-winning show Mind of a Chef on PBS.  Additionally, Ludo produces and stars in Ludo à la Maison, a home cooking series.
