AN UPDATE ON CORONAVIRUS AND OUR CULINARY EVENTS

For more than thirty years, the restaurant industry has fueled our work to connect those at risk of hunger with the meals they need. Now, in this time of unprecedented uncertainty, we’re directing support to our culinary community. So while we look forward to rescheduling our next No Kid Hungry Dinner, we’d love for you to consider supporting chefs now by either ordering take-out or purchasing a gift card to use at a later date.

*A Note about Donor Advised Funds:

Please note that the IRS prohibits the use of Donor Advised Funds where more than an incidental benefit is received by the donor in return (e.g. event table/tickets, purchase of auction items). This prohibition applies regardless of whether the donor pays separately for the benefits received (i.e. the “non-deductible” amount). All table/ticket and auction purchases therefore must be funded personally outside of a Donor Advised Fund. For further guidance, please consult with your Donor Advised Fund administrator.
